Closing Ceremony!
A very sad day this will be, as even we are celebrating our graduation, but we will have to do something we all hate so much: Good Bye!!.. Some of us are leaving today back home.
After a quick breakfast, all delegates dressed up for the official closing ceremony. Coaches departed to Qatar Foundation ( a major sponsor of this summit) at around 8:30.
Upon Arrival, we took our pre-arranged seats and waited HRH Sheikha AlMayyasa to arrive who was very punctual and honored the hall at 10:30. The official closing celebration then started by words from Jonathan, Alison, and HRH the Princess. The ceremony also included speeches from our sponsors and the presentations we had been preparing for three days.
At the end of the ceremony, we had the honor to take a group photo with our Royal Patron, after which an official Reception was done where we had the chance to meet with all our sponsors while having some coffee and appetizers. At Noon we left back to the hotel as some delegates must catch their flights.
After couple of hours and much more pictures; tears ran down our cheeks while having to say Good Bye to each other as delegates were consecutively departing back home.
Later that evening, I had the first chance to go out and buy presents for my family. I went with my relatives in Doha who guided me through this mission successfully Alhamdulillah.
(Sorry for not posting pictures of the Closing Ceremony
as it was prohibited to take photos).
