My Name is Dr. Umair Emad Al Hijazi from The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, I was born in 1980, and am married to a warm-hearted lovely Industrial Engineer and Quality Assurance & Business Development Consultant, and we are parents to one adorable breathtaking 8 months old baby boy.
About myself; I am a Medical Doctor and a specialist in Prophetic and Islamic Therapy; and that is the treatment using subscriptions delivered by the Prophet Himself (P.B.U.H), or by those who succeeded him and studied and/or practiced Medicine. This therapy mainly uses natural herbs and elements in addition to the Cupping Therapy (Al Hujamah). In Addition; I am a lecturer, writer, and media presenter in the fields of Medical Miracles in Quran and Sunnah, Medical Awareness of Youths, and Prophetic Medicine, and I have numerous published articles in those fields.
In another path of my life; I am a Youth Development Expert and the CEO of “ISHRAQ for Developing Youths’ Skills”; a private organization that is designed to develop a variety of skills in potential young leaders, giving them continuous training courses which are very important to develop their leadership personalities, life style and 21st century required skills whether at school, university, or later in their career lives. Our organization is still young and we are looking forward to expanding its activities in the near future Insha’Allah.
Moreover; I am a co-founder of a charitable organization called “Bab-Al-Kheir” through which I supervise numerous voluntary activities such as those with orphans, geriatrics, children cancer patients, encampment residents, less fortunate, Ramadan Iftars, and others.
Also, I am a Specialist and trainer of speech skills, addressing skills, discourse and colloquy skills, enunciation, and mechanism of standing before audience and attracting ears in both Arabic and English languages.
My upcoming plan is preparing and anchoring a medical TV show for next Ramadan -Insha’Allah-, and I am preparing a book about Medical Miracles in Quran and Sunnah.
About my country, I am from The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan; a 92300 km2 small kingdom on the East Bank of the River Jordan. The country borders Saudi Arabia to the east and south-east, Iraq to the north-east, Syria to the north and Palestine to the west. Jordan's only port is at its south-western tip, at the Gulf of Aqaba. Over half of Jordan is covered by the Arabian Desert. However, the western part of Jordan is arable land and forests. Jordan is part of the Fertile Crescent. Jordan’s population is near 6.5 million and the capital city is Amman.
Jordan was founded in 1921, and it was recognized by the League of Nations as a state under the British mandate in 1922 known as The Emirate of Transjordan. In 1946, Jordan joined the United Nations as an independent sovereign state officially known as the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
As witness to Jordan's rich history, the Nabataean civilization left many magnificent archaeological sites at Petra, which is considered one of the New Seven Wonders of the World as well as been recognized by the UNESCO as a world Heritage site. Beside Petra, other civilizations also left their archaeological fingerprints on Jordan.
Modern Jordan is predominantly urbanized. Jordan is classified as a country of "high human development" by the 2010 Human Development Report. Furthermore, The Kingdom has been classified as an emerging market with a free market economy by the CIA World Fact Book. Jordan is a founding member of both the Arab League, and the Organization of the Islamic Cooperation (OIC). Recently, Jordan has been invited to join the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
Jordan is ruled by His Majesty King Abdullah II who succeeded his beloved father King Hussein following the latter's death in February 1999. His Majesty is married to Her Majesty Queen Rania Al-Abdallah and is father of four: Prince Hussein (Crown Prince), Princess Iman, Prince Hashem, and Princess Salma.
